Web 2.0 News

In case you don't know what Web 2.0 is, it's kind of like 'deconstruction' in the sense that other people don't exactly agree either. But it involves elements of social content like facebook and flickr and/or a new way of updating page content called AJAX, which allows for live updates rather than the old click and refresh cycle. Hi Stanislav,

Google seems to be taking a lead in defining by doing: their Writely word processor and spreadsheet have the ability to change the way people think about the web, get software, and share information.

A microsoft rep told me last year that the company's arch-rival was no longer the open-source community, but Google. Easy to see why!
